Microsoft solutions online and on demand

Standard IT applications for all employees: A new collaboration between T-Systems and Microsoft makes it possible.

T-Systems will be offering large companies with thousands of employees the chance to access standard applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Word online and on demand. Microsoft is making these applications available online with its cloud computing solution BPOS (Business Productivity Online Suite). T-Systems is the only German provider to offer this software package. No long-term license investments and no time wasted on integrating the software into your system.
Exchange for everyone
Thanks to the collaboration, companies will also be able to incorporate employees who do not have their own workstations into the corporate network. For example, people working in production can get an email address, which will make it easier for them to participate in corporate communication. They can access their mailbox from any PC with an Internet connection. “For us, the new agreement with Microsoft confirms the long, strategic cooperation between both companies,” says Olaf Heyden, Member of the Board of Management at T-Systems, where he is responsible for IT and network infrastructure ( ICT Operations). “Providing software, storage and bandwidth on demand is the way of the future. And we provide the security – for everything including the network, applications and data.”
