Uwe Schlager is Managing Director and Chairman of the Managing Board of T-Systems Singapore. In addition, Uwe serves as Vice President of Corporate Customers for T-Systems in Malaysia and Member of the Management Board. Uwe has over 20 years of extensive and in-depth experience in all areas of Information Technology and has a thorough understanding of the Asia Pacific Region. Uwe began his career with Daimler AG in 1988 and since then, he has held a series of leadership roles in various functions including employee development and training, IT infrastructure planning and operations. He also played a key role in the implementation of major SAP projects and IT controlling, rising to General Manager IT-Infrastructure in Daimler AG for the regions Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa. For more than five years, he oversaw the development and implementation of the infrastructure strategy and led the Operations IT Infrastructure. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Technology from the Heinrich Hertz Technical College in Karlsruhe, Germany.
